The most off-road capable Sierra to date is the 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X AEV.

Well, the 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X AEV has a lot of letters to begin with. Quite the mouthful! With its few changes

the new AT4X trim already improves over the ATX, but the AEV goes far further.

With the aid of American Expedition Vehicles, the AT4X AEV resembles the Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison and the Chevy Silverado ZR2 Bison.

It is mounted on 18-inch gloss black AEV Salta wheels with laser engraving that include the AEV trademark valve system for improved rock protection on trails.

The truck has front and rear electronic locking differentials as well as Multimatic DSSV spool valve dampers.

Additionally, AEV stamped steel bumpers improve front and rear recovery points.

The ground clearance of the 2023 GMC Sierra AT4X AEV is 11.2 inches. With a 23.0-degree breakover angle and a 23.4-degree departure angle

Although we are unsure of the depth of the water it can cross, we do know that the steel front bumper is prepared to be fitted with a winch.

For increased durability, the 3-millimeter thick bumpers are powder- and e-coated.

The AT4X AEV employs boron steel skid plates because they are three times stronger than alternatives made of cold-stamped high-strength steel

There are off-road rocker panel guards that may be purchased to assist shield the sides of the truck from rocks.

Power is not an issue with the AT4X. Its 6.2-liter V8 engine generates 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
