The Porsche 911 from the 993-series is transformed into the 993R in Paul Stephens Autoart's most recent design.

A client brief that sought for the 993 to be upgraded in every aspect by 25% served as Paul Stephens' starting point.

The construction, which took five years to complete and was interrupted by the coronavirus epidemic,

is made up of real Porsche Motorsport parts as well as custom-made pieces by Paul Stephens.

Compared to the original, the 993R is lighter and more powerful.

The 3.8-liter flat-six engine in the upgraded Porsche 911 has been increased from 3.6 litres.

Peak power increases significantly from the original 272 horsepower (202 kW) engine to 330 horsepower (246 kilowatts).

A more formidable power upgrade from Paul Stephens raises the Porsche's horsepower to 360 hp (268 kW) and raises the redline from 7,400 to 8,500 rpm.

The engine is coupled with a six-speed gearbox that has a flywheel and clutch that are both lightweight.
