Tesla’s new Cybertruck On November 21, 2019, Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk unveiled the Cybertruck at the Tesla Design Center in Hawthorne, California.

Due of its unusual appearance, it has been contentious and received a lot of both favour and criticism.

The truck's futuristic appearance has garnered a lot of laughter on Twitter. It was contrasted with old video games, a doorstop, the car in the film Total Recall, and a child's drawing.

It has an angular shape and a body made of stainless steel that you could smash without the vehicle getting hurt.

A pull-out panel on its tailgate allows it to be used as a ramp. It has Tesla armour glass windows, which are potentially bulletproof.

However, the unveiling didn't go well when a metal ball was hurled at the window and smashed the glass.

The Cybertruck comes in three variations with various engines. The base model will be rear-wheel-drive with a single motor and a towing capacity of more than 7,500 pounds.

Starting price is $39,900. The all-wheel-drive variant with two motors will have a towing capacity of 10,000 pounds. Starting price is $49,000.

The most advanced model will feature three motors and all-wheel drive. Up to 14,000 pounds will be able to be towed by it.
