The GR Corolla will be available in three trim levels: Core, Circuit Edition, and the track-focused MORIZO Edition.

Toyota decided to build and produce a special car for US roads only:

the Toyota GR Corolla, after depriving the American market of performance hatchbacks like the GR Yaris.

This hatchback was created by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the brand's performance division, and it has several race-inspired engineering features.

The GR Corolla debuts as a hot hatchback in 2023, competing with the Subaru WRX, Volkswagen Golf Type R, and Honda Civic Type R.

The GR Corolla series includes a 1.6-liter, 300-horsepower three-cylinder turbo engine, a six-speed intelligent manual gearbox, and the GR-Four all-wheel drive system.

The GT Corolla is produced by the company in a GR plant in Motochami, which also produces the Yaris, Lexus LFA, and Supra A80.

But even though it is the newest member of TOYOTA'S GAZOO Racing sports car family, the 2023 GR Corolla is certain to make a lasting impression on roads in North America.

The car has been meticulously refined at many of Japan's finest racing courses with expert drivers at the helm.

Three trim levels of the GR Corolla will be offered: Core, Circuit Edition, and the track-oriented MORIZO Edition.

The only vehicle we will be allowed to test drive this year is the GR Corolla Core trim level, which will go on sale in the fall of 2022.

The MORIZO Edition will debut in the fourth quarter of 2023, whilst the Circuit Edition will be available in the first quarter of 2023.
