Hennessey Shows Off What 1,000 HP Corvette Can Do Against A Dodge Demon In Rolling Race
Hennessey has a 1,000 horsepower Corvette upgrade that beats the pants of a Dodge Demon, as their latest video shows.
Hennessey has a Corvette ZR1 upgrade with 1,000 horsepower, and it looks to stack up well against the Dodge Demon, another incredibly potent vehicle.
Hennessey has a history of providing North American automakers more power than is necessary, as we are all well known. Unless you're Hennessey, the only number that makes sense is "more."
This, as we are aware, is not a number. It's simply that he continues creating improvements that are more powerful,
making it difficult to predict when it will all come to an end, excluding a hospital.
Anyway, Hennessey has a 1,000 horsepower improvement (helpfully termed the HPE1000 upgrade) for the 2019 Corvette ZR1, and their most recent video compares it to the Dodge Demon.
This 840-horsepower beast rose to legendary fame after finishing a quarter-mile drag race in only 9.65 seconds.
This video doesn't actually depict a drag race. Hennessey intended to demonstrate
how effectively the two cars compete on an unprepared surface since they acknowledge that not every race will be held on a prepared track.
Both the Demon and the Corvette are not wearing drag radials, as can be seen, however,
we believe the Demon is still being fed the necessary 100-octane race gasoline to produce its 840 horsepower.
