With a cutting-edge electric car, Dodge is starting a new chapter.

One that attempts to appeal more to the high-octane muscle car crowd than to the politically correct people who snub anyone who dared to pursue performance driving.

The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept is its official name.

The Charger Daytona Concept also has a powerful performance, much like the renowned Charger Daytona model

that was the first car to surpass 200 mph on a NASCAR circuit in 1970. Let's examine this roaring EV's propulsion mechanism.

Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee Concept: Powertrain Details

Dodge's brand-new Banshee propulsion system joins other well-known high-horsepower options including Redeye, Hellcat, and Hemi.

In addition, the Brotherhood of Muscle has a brand-new performance apex: Banshee.

This Dodge Charger Daytona EV concept car's 800V Banshee powertrain screams performance,

making Dodge's first electric vehicle quicker than a Hellcat in all significant performance metrics.

Although the figures have not yet been made public, there are suspicions that the Tesla Model S Plaid is the intended target.

We'll have to wait a little while to learn how the Banshee passes the Hellcat as this is only a concept car.
