RacerX takes the two Dodge muscle sedans on the street in Texas to compare their 0-60 times

Two Dodge Charger sedans are driven to evaluate two of the most performance-focused trim versions of the Stellantis muscle vehicle on the RacerX YouTube channel.

RacerX compares the 0-60 timings of two HEMI-powered Chargers by driving a blue R/T and a red Scat Pack from Clay Cooley Dodge in Irving, Texas.

Check out the video to witness the Chargers face off and discover who is eventually faster.

0-60 MPH In The Charger Scat Pack He compares the two Chargers early on in the movie,

pointing out that both vehicles have many characteristics despite having separate engines  ..

that produce very different amounts of horsepower and torque and having tyres of the same diameter.

The Charger R/T Scat Pack is the first vehicle on the list. It has a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that produces 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

The Scat Pack, unlike the R/T, comes in a widebody version that has its own performance consequences; the vehicle used in this test, however, has a regular body.

First up comes the more potent Dodge, and as soon as it hits the road, the Scat Pack flexes its muscles and makes its potent engine and torque audible.

Not the best specifications for a car of this type, the tyres like to spin off the line.

After multiple road testing to get the car from 0 to 60 mph, the R/T Scat Pack consistently produces a time of 5.2 seconds.
