The 2 modern muscle cars battle it out at the track with a Ford Mustang GT making an appearance for good measure.

Even if you know who will win a drag race, it may still be entertaining to watch.

It's fascinating to observe whether a weaker vehicle can make a race closer than it should be.

On their YouTube channel, Drag Racing and Car Stuff has published a video of a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat drag racing a Ford Mustang GT and a Dodge Charger.

On paper, the Challenger with a Hellcat engine outperforms the other two muscle cars by a wide margin.

But let's wait and watch what transpires when they actually clash at the drag strip.

Dodge Challenger Hellcat Takes On A Charger And Ford Mustang GT

The 6.2-liter V8 in the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat produces 717 horsepower. In these drag races, it has much more power than the other two vehicles.

The film is silent on whether the Dodge Charger is an R/T model with a 5.7-liter V8 producing 370 horsepower or a 392 Scat Pack

with a 6.4-liter V8 producing 485 horsepower. The 5.0-liter V8 engine of the Ford Mustang GT generates 460 horsepower.

Other elements, like as driver response times and traction, may influence the outcome of a drag race.

As a result, the competition may be far tight than the horsepower figures alone would indicate.
