The Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Truck is now on sale. Ford made some bold claims about the latest pickup trucks.

CEO Jim Farley even joked that he could charge Tesla, which needed juice.

Can the Ford F-150 Lightning Electric Pickup Truck Really Charge a Tesla Model?

Tesla is a car maker that wins in electric cars. Tesla was one of the first automakers to start mass-producing electric vehicles for the US market.

American car makers Ford and General Motors are now starting to produce their own electric vehicles.

All carmakers want to abandon the King of the Hills, and few brands are giving Tesla fierce competition.

Ford CEO Jim Farley claimed that Blue Oval's new pickup truck could supercharge Tesla.

He made the comment as a mockery of the candidate, but is there any truth to his claim?

The Ford F-150 Lightning Trim includes a feature called Pro Power Onboard.

This feature allows the electric pickup to run multiple devices and devices simultaneously from the battery.

Some models also have an intelligent backup power supply. This feature allows users to use the F-150 Lightning as a backup generator to temporarily power their home.

The upper trim level is capable of storing 9.6 kW of exportable electricity.
