This recall comes just six weeks after Kia announced its 2023 Telluride for the North American market.

Kia is conducting a recall of the 2022 Telluride is being recalled for an issue with its digital dashboard.

Kia Motors America (Kia) is recalling some 2020 Telluride vehicles.

Both Kia and Hyundai share the same suppliers and parts, so both vehicles are included in a nearly 485-car recall.

The almost 485 included Kia Sportage SUVs from 2014 to 2016 and the K900 sedans from 2016 to 2018.

Data collected by the Center for Auto Safety shows that more than 30 U.S.

engine-related and fire-related recalls have been issued against Hyundai and Kia since 2015.

Michael Brooks, the lead attorney at the nonprofit Center for Auto Safety, said the Tuesday recall is distinct from engine-failure issues,

which have caused the majority of prior recalls for the fires at the Hyundai-Kia.

In 2020 alone, Kia issued a 295,000-vehicle recall because of a fire hazard caused by 295 engines.

Kia dealers are expected to check engine compartments on the Kia vehicles mentioned by the recalls.
