The first electric pickup truck from Chevrolet is the 2024 Silverado EV. The Ford F-150 Lightning will be a contender of the Silverado EV.

Up until the Ram 1500 EV is out, the only reasonably priced vehicle to go up against the Lightning Pro will be the Silverado EV Work Truck.

The first electric pickup truck from Chevrolet is obviously in demand. As of April 2022, the American carmaker has had 140,000 bookings, according to MotorTrend.

Before construction of the Ford F-150 Lightning really started, there were around 200,000 reservations.

Given that the Chevrolet Silverado is one of the brand's best-selling vehicles, it seems sense that GM would electrify the nameplate.

The vehicle is expected to be the greatest electric pickup on the market, according to GM CEO Mary Barra, who also has high expectations for it.

The Silverado EV RST has received some fantastic features from Chevy, but the typical user won't be able to purchase the top grade.

Amazingly speedy is the 2024 Chevy Silverado EV RST. The RST's electric motor powertrain design allows it to produce 660 horsepower.

The electric pickup truck's incredible 780 lb-ft of torque is produced. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 4.5 seconds.

The RST is evidence that pickup trucks with electric motors may be just as swift and potent as those with internal combustion engines.

it's good to know that GM is offering such a variety of trim options for the electric pickup truck. The base price of the Silverado EV RST is about $105,000.

A lot nearer to $40K will be the Silverado EV Work Truck's price. Although it won't have the same stunning performance stats as the RST
