The new S650 Ford Mustang has just been unveiled.

Here's everything you need to know considering its track-focused variant, the Mustang Dark Horse.

Although it was leaked before the formal event, the seventh-generation Ford Mustang, also known as the S650, was officially revealed, and we're already anticipating it.

The Mustang will come in three major trim levels: the EcoBoost, which houses a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Mustang GT,

which houses a normally aspirated V8, and the Dark Horse, which is the focus of today's presentation.

If the name doesn't seem familiar to you, it's because nothing like has ever existed.

Ford has previously created several somewhat more extreme Mustangs, such as the Mach One or Boss 302, but the term "Dark Horse" has never been used.

Although the Mustang Dark Horse is distinct from other Mustangs, it isn't nearly as visceral as, say, a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Super Snake.

Today, we'll discuss the meaning of the name as well as what distinguishes the Dark Horse from other Mustang models.

Perhaps 2022 muscle vehicles in general won't perish.
