Dodge Unveils The 2023 Challenger Black Ghost ‘Last Call’ Special-Edition Model

Limited to only 300 examples, this special-edition model pays tribute to the Black Ghost 1970 Challenger R/T owned by Godfrey Qualls.

The Dodge Challenger and Charger will no longer be produced after the 2023 model year. Stellaris has created seven “Last Call” limited edition models as a fitting send-off for these powerful automobiles.

The sixth of these limited edition cars was been revealed in a press statement from the company. The 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost will be it.

The name Black Ghost pays homage to Godfrey Qualls’ first Black Ghost, a black 1970 Dodge Challenger RT SE. With its 426 HEMI engine, this automobile had a reputation for dominating Woodward Avenue.

Only 300 2023 Challenger Black Ghost vehicles will be made by Dodge. All 300 of the limited edition “Last Call” models will be gone quickly if they are anything like the previous special editions.

807 Horsepower Under The Hood

The body and drivetrain of the 2023 Dodge Challenger Black Ghost are shared with the Challenger SRT Hellcat Wide Body. The Black Ghost will get an increase in horsepower, making it 807 hp instead.

The grille script, fender, and spoiler emblems will be exclusive to the Black Ghost Challenger. The steering wheel, door bolsters, and seats will all be covered with Alcantara/Laguna leather in the interior. On the instrument panel, there will also be a Black Ghost panel badge.

The 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas will see the release of Dodge’s last remaining “Last Call” vehicle in November. Allocations will be made to specific dealerships, and further details will be made public later in the autumn.
